How to Transfer Data from Samsung to Google Pixel 2

What you need to prepare?
  • 1. The Quick Switch Adapter that came with your Pixel 2.
  • 2. The SIM ejection tool that came with your Pixel 2.
  • 3. Your Samsung phone's charging cable.
  • 4. Both your Samsung phone and Pixel 2 need to be charged to at least 50%.
Follow the steps to start with SIM
  • 1. Remove the SIM card from your Samsung phone.
  • 2. Using the SIM ejection tool included in the box, open the SIM tray on your Pixel 2.
  • 3. Insert the SIM card and allow a few seconds to activate. You're all ready.
Connect Wi-Fi and use the Quick Switch Adapter

Once you have the SIM in place and your Pixel turned on, you'll need to find an available Wi-Fi network and join in. Connect your Android to your new Pixel 2 using your Samsung phone's charging cable and the Quick Switch Adaptor that came with your Pixel.

Sign in to your Google Account and transfer data

If you already have a Google Account, sign in with your email or phone number. Once you've signed into your Google Account, select what you want to copy, such as apps, contacts, calendar events, photos, video music, SMS messages and more. Then tap "copy" and let your data transfer begin.
